With spring around the corner, it is now time to think of ways to get back on track with our fitness. One of the easiest ways to do that is by walking. Walking is a low impact exercise that can be done by everyone. People of every age and ability will find walking a great way to reap health benefits. Regular walking can help to keep your heart and cardiovascular system working properly, which can then help reduce the risk of stroke and heart disease. But make sure you also take steps to protect your body while you exercise. One of the ways we do it is by using ankle sleeves and knee sleeves. With these, we get greater balance and stability, especially as we walk up and down the hills near the office.
Keep in mind that consistency is the key. With a consistent workout routine, you’ll burn calories and lose weight no matter which exercise plan you end up choosing. In our office, we choose to walk and enjoy nature as part of our lunch break or afternoon break. So far, we have been able to walk at least twice a week. But we are determined to increase that to five times a week. Wish us luck! Join us in our journey!
